land desktop 2006 point/block insertion?

when inserting points from a fieldbook, the blocks associated with the descriptor .dsc files and their respective layers do not insert. the linework comes in, but the blocks do not. i recently converted from ldd 3 to ldd 2006 and i have all of the settings the same. is there anything new that must be done in 2006 to make the blocks come in with the points?

To answer your last question, No.

In point settings, on the Insert tab, is "Use Current Point Label Style When..." checked ON? Is the correct path shown above that?

On the Descriptor Keys tab, are the appropriate toggles checked ON?

Under Label Settings, point Labels tab, is the correct label style selected?

Under Edit Label Styles, point Label styles tab, find your current style. Are the appropriate toggles selected in the "Description Keys" section? Is the correct DescKey file selected?

I have the same problem, my paths are all correct, every tab is correct, I even rewrote some layers to ensure they were available. The points come in on thier respected layers, no blocks ever show up
