Hi guys,
I am working in Architectural Desktop 2005 and I every time I print walls, windows, etc. they print in color. On page set-up manager I am choosing monochrome.stb but it still prints in color. Someone told me to chose monochrome.ctb but i don't have that option. Any ideas? Thanks a lot,

In ADT use the plot style AIA Standard. The objects in ADT uses the styles in this plot style.

I opened ADT and chose AIA standard but it is still printing in color.
What is the difference between printing in Architectural Desktop and ADT?
Thanks,

ADT is Architectural Desktop.
The difference is how the wall styles are made. The wall styles has a plot style assigned to them within the Style. If you want to use monochrome, you will have to change the wall style.
When you plot, do you have the option checked to plot using plot styles?

I don't use ADT, but my AutoCAD 2005 will do this to me with my view ports.
I found that if you look in the properties dialog box for the viewport, there is a entry call "Shade Plot". Mine seems to default to "As Displayed", and no matter what Plot Style CTB file I choose it still prints in Colour. When I change "Shade Plot" to "Wireframe" it prints using the settings in the CTB file.
I hope this is helpful.

Sometimes it helps if you open a new file and the copy there everything from the file you had problems to print properly. Use the new file and print from there...

A quick fix might be to set your printer properties to "print color as black" (this is what it's called on my HP), I've done that in the past.
