Speed up Mouse Pointer

I used to have my mouse pointer on top speed but since we have changed computers and although i have changed my Mouse Properties - Pointer Options - Motion to Fast it still isn't as fast as it used to be..!!
Strange ..but does anyone know how to speed it up? :cry:
We have changed from Windows 2000 or 2002 i think to XP if this would have any affect.

get a bit of cheese and sellotape it to your mouse lead about 1" in front of the mouse ~ just enough so he can smell it but not too close so that he can jump out of your hand and grab it.
I find a nice bit of brie or parmessan does wonders in these situations

haha yes... i already tried that but the boss has been complaining about the smell..!

Joking aside.. how do i check i have the latest mouse driver installed.?

check what driver you are currently using under teh Control panel Mouse properties, then check the website to see if there is a newer version of the driver available
