Link value text ?

Hello everyone.!

I have a prbls: i mean link value text in drawing A with value text in drawing B. I found command field but it not worked.

can anyone tell me the way right.?

Unfortunately no, it's not as simple as that. Why not xref B into A and then XClip only the area around the text?

Ah, i was. But if i have a lot of text then my drawing very slow. I think to SSManager, and field with sheet. Do you have any way same text in model. ?

Or what about placing your text in Excel/Word/etc. and OLE-Linking (i.e. Copy-n-PasteSpecial-As-Link) to both DWGs? Though that might make your drawing even slower than XReffing.

What you could do is make one DWG which contains only the text and xref that into both A & B. That way you xref nothing but the text into the DWG, keeping it as small and efficient as possible.

SSM is a good idea, though it's not always "perfect". E.g. it's difficult to get multiple lines working properly. And it's more intended for use on title blocks, thus not as comprehensive in the model space view.
