nicolas
Hi, I encountered two tremendous problems today namely 1. I have a nylon joint to fit into an alu. traverse and the joint is slightly bigger than the traverse. In real world, this is not a problem, it had to be pressed or lightly squeezed into the traverse. Also, I have to lightly force the glazing into the joint and the latter taking form around the extremity of the glazing. Where should I start, given that I have no idea at all how to takle this issue? Joint Issues.pdf 2. Also in assembly everything was going fine when at the last minute, I am constraining plane-to-plane and one of the object keep rotating prior to effecting the mate. Answers to those will be great. Thank you in advance. Regards, Nicolas. Edited October 3, 2011 by nicolas Attachment Missing
JD Mather
You will have to model the two different states - Inventor is not going to automatically deform the solids for you. For the second question you will have to attach the assemby here.
