platinum home Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I've been having all my prints at 1/8" scale on 11x17 paper. How can I take my same drawings and put them on 36x24. Also, when I do my site plan, my dims are really small compared to everything else I do. Quote
JD Mather Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I assume you are drawing in model space at 1:1 scale and using viewport scales in paperspace layouts - correct? Quote
platinum home Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 I am drawing everything in model space at 1:1 scale. Yes to everything. Quote
ReMark Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 And you made use of the Annotative Scaling feature for all text and dimensions? Have you created a second layout in your drawing yet? Quote
ccf4CAD Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 "What is Annotative Scaling?", asks the rookie? Quote
ReMark Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Annotative scaling is applied to objects, such as text and dimensions, in model space so that when those objects are seen in one's paper space layouts they appear at the correct scale and when printed all appear uniform in size. Blocks and hatch patterns can be annotatively scaled as well. Quote
