Is it possible to insert a .jpeg or .bmp into an AutoCAD2000 .dwg without having a polyline bordering the image? The way I have been trying is to insert a raster image. I cannot see how to remove/hide/switch off/delete the line around. Does anyone have the answer or an alternative solution? Thanks in andvance.

Not sure about r2000 but in r2000i you have a reference toolbar. Right click on a button and see if you have a reference toolbar, if so open it. In that toolbar will be a toggle frames button. This should do what you want. Good luck.

Glad it worked for you.
Remember if you want to edit (move, scale, whatever) the image I believe you must turn the frames back on.
Welcome to the forum if nobody else has said so yet. :)

Hello Simon!
An other way is to enter from the keybord IMAGEFRAME and choise OFF. I am an old fashion man; I still enter a lot of commands from keybord.
Good luck!
