I am trying to figure out the best way to create a tube routing for a pneu hose going from tube fitting to tube fitting. Any suggestions?

Thanks

So, create component? I have 2 fittings 10 ft apart on different planes pointing diff directions. I create circle on the one fitting, then create spline in same sketch?

I can not attach my assy, due to Military info. Sorry.

Thanks

What version of Inventor do you have?

2012? 2011? 2010?

Inventor Professional

Inventor Routed Systems?

More information is needed.

Sounds like you want to do it the hard way.

Create Component in the assembly.

Project Geometry the centerpoint of a connector at start.

Project Geometry the centerpoint of a connector at end.

Create 2D or 3D spline from start to finish.

Create workplane perp to spline (if doesn't already exist).

Create 2D sketch circle.

Sweep.

If you change the positions of the start or end connector part the path should update as it is adaptive. (you might have to click update)
