SuperCAD Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 You can also create a DWF first and then make the PDF in Design Review. Quote
ED RDNZ Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 i'm afraid CAD crashes by doing this... since i'm getting to the final of this drawing, i prefer to not mess around with it much. after i get all done will try your suggestion. will let you know if works... Quote
SuperCAD Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 By creating the DWF first, which is a file type created by Autodesk, CAD will have nothing to do with the PDF creation. You open the DWF in an entirely different program and create the PDF from there. Publish the drawing as a DWF, save the file and close AutoCAD, open the DWF in Design Review and make the PDF. It's so simple, a caveman could do it. Quote
ED RDNZ Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 Will try... Since you insist... Hehe... Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Used these settings with Ed's drawings. Took just a second or two...no crash on this end. Quote
