Yagoona Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Hi, I have a plan prepared for CNC steel sheet laser cutting. One factor in the costing of the cutting is determined by cutting time or length of cutting. I want to determine the total length of all the lines in a selection so that I can determine what is the most economical design to achieve my goal. Is this possible in ACAD? I have added the file so you can see what I am on about. fire rack 03.dwg Quote
chulse Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Have a look here for TLEN.lsp - it's under "free stuff" http://www.turvill.com/t2/index.htm hope that does it for you Quote
edwinprakoso Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I had similar question before. I suggested to use dataextraction to extract line length, group them by colors and other properties. This may help: using data extraction to create report Quote
