IGES conversion of model & layout data

I am using AutoCAD 2012 and would like to know whether you can create a single iges file of data that exists in both model space and layout space within the same dwg file. I have only been successful in creating iges files of either model data or layout data but not both together (unlike creating a dxf file which converts all data within the dwg file). Thanks.
