FDI Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 I have a coil and a clear tube. The clear tube is to go into the coil. I tried the insert in the constraint box but it only picks up the circle i used to make the coil and not the whole part. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bishop Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Make your coil around, for instance, the Y axis. Make the axis visible, and then you can select it for your longitudinal axis in the constraint. (Also, and I know you didn't specifically ask this, but if you set a work plane at the top and bottom of the coil you can use those for constraints as well, then make them invisible afterwards.)
