the ber
Click on the "copy" icon, or type "_copy". At the prompt, use the mouse to select the rectangle or triangle, or all the individual lines that make them up, and hit "enter". At the next prompt select one of the corners or lines of the object(s) that you want to copy. Then you just move your mouse and click wherever you want the square or triangle to be copied, as often as you want. When you're finished, hit "enter". takkaru
This is not the solution I was looking for. Suppose say I have a piece of land drawn in vector format. I have an area for farms, for coconut palms, beach, and poultry farms. I want to copy the block "coconut palm" in the areas dedicated for coconut palms with 6m space between each palm. Also i want to copy blocks of "farm" with 12 meters between them.
the ber
Then you need the "Array" command. Type "_array" and the window opens. You can set it up, and then preview how it will look before you accept it.
rkent
The array command will work and copy has an array option as well, new to 2012 release.
