Closing polyline with a curve

I've been using AutoCAD for many years and finally gotten fed up with this:

 

If I have a polyline which has a curve in it, and I PEDIT and CLOSE it, AutoCAD automatically closes it with a curve. Does anyone know if this is a setting which I can turn off, so that it's closed with a straight line instead??

Not that I have found. I just place the cursor on the center vertex after selecting and choose "Convert to Line".
