Its better practise to work with your XREF's inserted at 0,0 , so if an Architect's drawing is not at 0,0,how will I know when I go to insert it as a XREF at coordinate 0,0 that it was correctly inserted in the first place?
How do I know if I'm bringing in an XREF at the exact co-ordinate 0,0?Theres no marker displaying where your 0,0 is.the only way seems to be to draw a line at 0,0 and see where it lies. :? I know if you just select the whole drawing and right click and copy, you can then paste it to 0,0 or just insert at 0,0.But is that corect. This has always been something that Ive not been 100% sure on.

When inserting a xref you have your first dialog box pops up and ask you what xref you want. The second dialog box that pops up there is a check box for specify on screen. If you uncheck this box it will insert your xref at 0,0,0. No problem or even worries.
