Protecting Completed Assemblies

Someone in our group (& of course, no one wants to own up to it) is making unwanted changes to some of our .IAMs.

Even though the Inventor Vault lets you know who the last person was that accessed a particular .IAM, we are having difficulty determining who is making the unwanted changes.

Is there a way to protect an assembly, once it is completed?

Some sort of way to lock it down to prevent this from happening again?

Sometimes we make so many changes to an asssembly in a very short amount of time, that to just go back to a previous version would put us back quite a few steps.

Are you using Free Vault or are you using the higher Vaults (Collaboratoin/Workgroup/Professional) which allow you to release and therefore lock users out of modifications?
