I'm having trouble copying parts of drawings into other drawings when I use the Ctrl+V command. Creating blocks and copying them also does not work. Some of the drawings I am able to copy to the one I am working on and others simply not, which gives me the idea that it might be a setvar within those specific drawings that prevents me from pasting? Anyone have an idea?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure. All the drawings are saved as 2010. It's not only blocks that give my trouble, any lines etc. do not copy.

Could they have been originally created using AutoCAD 2007?

That is very possible. How does that have an effect?

2007 had a known bug.

Can you post a copy of the DWG file?

Works fine here. Are the layers on for the objects being pasted? Perhaps the scale is extremely small after being Pasted in.

That is so frustrating. All the scales are the same, all the layers are on, etc. Man this is quite frustrating. But thank you anyway for having a look.

What is displayed on the command line when you paste them in?
