vertical horizons Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I added a NEW STYLE to the Styles Editor. I also gave the data of the weight per foot to the NEW STYLE. Bishop Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Open up the part in which you created the new style, then find the style under MATERIAL in the left-side pane. Right click on the name, and select EXPORT. Then go to the part that you want it in, and use the IMPORT button. After it's imported, you'll still need to assign the material, though - it doesn't automatically assign it when you import. Another step which is (short term) more complicated makes things simpler in the long run: create a basic template for your parts / assemblies / drawings, and import the styles you create to those.
