I need to convert AutoCAD 2000i dwg files to PDF.
I have seen some products on the market, but can any one recommend a cheap and easy to use package?
Cheers

I use PDF-XChange from http://www.docu-track.co.uk/index.php?page=22 and find it easy to use, cheap and haven't had any problems

I have come across this free PDF thing http://www.autocadcentral.com/Downloads/downloads_index.htm. Is it any good? I did not try it.

Hate to say it (due to it's price) but I just got the latest version of Acrobat 6 Pro and it really is nice. It is supposed to retain the layers of the AutoCAD file but I have not played with that function yet. I might play with it some in a few days but so far it is a nice upgrade. Did some pdf's of A-size (8.5x11) sheets at 300 dpi and the file size was quite small.

PDF995 it is free and I am using it from about 6 months. It works fine for me. I can print to file (to *.pdf file) from any windows application!

I used PDF995 until I got a copy of Acrobat 5 with Acrobat Distiller.
