Missing Properties menu info

Greetings,

Here's the issue..In Acad 2006, my properties dialog box suddenly does not display any info when you pick an object. The only thing showing up is the "select" pull down and the 3 toggle buttons at the top. I've tried several things to see if I could restore the menu info back, but no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One reason for that is you need to have "PICKFIRST" set to 1.

..although a recent poster has this set properly and still has the problem..........

When I installed first time the AutoCAD 2k6 on a computer I had the same problem. I just reinstalled the program and this solved the problem. Probable it is not a very elegant solution but it worked for me.
