Need HELP quickly, using AutoCAD R14

Only just started using ACAD R14, used to use Coral Draw.

Anyway my problem......

I have completed a drawing for a project i am on, i save it to my folder, but then when i open the folder to add and review the drawing.

All the curved lines, (arcs, splines, etc) turn into straight lines????? :? :?

Why would this happen, and is it anything to do with file names, (.DWG or .DXF??)

I think your find its ok.... type REGEN and you will see they are still there.

Maybe change your options - display resolution - increase the number of segments in a polyline curve.

Type Viewres at the command line. Press Enter.

Where it asks, Do you want fast zooms? [Yes/No] <Y> except the default answer.

Where it asks, Enter circle zoom percent (1-20000) <100> type in a value such as 2000 then press Enter.

Check out your circles. They should appear smoother. To increase the number of line segments to smooth them out even more try entering a percent such as 5000.

Are we happier now?
