Auto rotate Option in Autocad Print

Folio

Is there is a way to auto rotate drawings in the print window?? I'm always having trouble trying to find out how to rotate the drawings to fit the sheet in a different orientation.

You can use the UCS command to rotate the Z access if from Modelspace. If from Paperspace, simply use the Rotate command for the Viewport.

If you're simply meaning orientation then ReMark is correct.

Auto rotate is different from rotating the geometry and selecting landscape or portrait. Auto rotate automatically selects the best orientation to suit the paper size.

And where would one find "nesting"? Wouldn't the user have to be running a particular piece of software to have access to "nesting"?

Nesting is available with some plotter drivers (usually the higher end). It would allow plotting 2+ drawings side by side (i.e. 4 Arch (ANSI) A size in a row on 36" roll or 2 Arch (ANSI) B). Our HP DJ 5500 has it and our HP DJ 500 does not.
