My IT dude was messing with my CAD '04, after i specifically told him not to, but i'm not bitter,...yeah...anywhos, i'm the next technically-literate guy in the office, but i'm having massive trouble trying to find the toolbar path, if there is one, because this guy committed a CAD diaspora-of-sorts.
If someone has an idea of the toolbar path i could refer to, i'd be much appreciative.
Thank-you,
Justin

Your standard autocad toolbars are stored on you local computer. Use the Menu & menuload command to load them.
If they are stored on the network, then add the path to the Support Files path. Use the OPTIONS command, see the files tab.
If you are using tool palettes, there is another option to set their path.

do you have an idea of the standard/generic file name/path where they could be, because all that i'm finding are the Express Tools that were loaded, but all other files that are coming up are clearly not the AutoCAD standards

The menu files are typically in the support folder under th e user profile
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR LOGIN NAME\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2004\R16.0\enu\Support

pardon my lack of technical lexicon;
When Ron, the 'computer dude', did his thing, I ended up with AutoCAD 2002 and 2004 on my machine. 2004 has toolbars without icons, but keyboard shortcuts do not work. on 2002, there are no toolbars, but the commands work. And the path references for various items are mixed and matched between 2002 and 2004 files.
such as: typing E for erase brings up ''Unknown Command" so's i have to type up 'erase' which adds a split second to each command task (''say it ain't so!") lol, so when going through the files looking for the menu path, I stumbled across a file (i forget the extension) that has all of the commands in a very basic/simple programming language i think it might be Perl...now if i knew where to find the place where i could path that file, I could get 2004 @ 80% running efficiency..taking into account the rotation of Jupiter with respect to the moon, of course.
Indoubitably,
Justin
