Well it seems that Google/@Last have released a free personal use SketchUp version. The link explains the differences.

Nice 1 i'll go get it :D .
I had 30 days to learn it before the trial ran out, when I was getting the hang of it, it was to late, 30 days were up :x , Now I can get it again :D

That's very good news and not entirely unexpected given Google's track record. I also like the sound of the 3D Warehouse.

Looks like you save to a native SU file as well. This means you can share files with ANY SU user. Pro or free version.
