Hi all. Im running LDD2006 and Map 2006 on a WinXP machine. I have run this setup without any problems for quite some time, so my problem is not likely hardware related. When in LDD or Map, moving my mouse will cause acad.exe to consume 100% of my CPU usage. I'm not in any command, and can be in a fresh drawing and this will always happen. Its getting a bit frustrating as the cursor is jumpy and selection of objects (and mearly moving the cursor over an object) is laggy.

What I have tried:
-Reinstall Autocad after removing all registry entries and profiles
-Reinstall mouse drivers and switch mice
-Remove and re-create my windows profile
-Do a REPAIR install of XP.
-Check RAM for errors.

I am about to to a full format/reinstall of windows, but wanted to know if anyone else has come across this first.

Cheers
-Stefan

Try updating your graphics card drivers.

Same problem here since today. Running ACAD 2007 on a Pentium D 930 with 2Gig of mem, a fast vid-card on windows XP. Didn't change anything to the setup...

When moving the mouse (or Wacom pen), CPU-usage boosts and ACAD becomes slower in the feel...

Edit: Looks like it has something to do with the amount of objects in the drawing? Got about 25000 objects, that shouldn't be too much though?
