Can't draw a Selection Box

I was playing around with the settings and I have checked so many things on and off to make this work again but when I go to the options I could try everything but the selection box doesn't appear on my screen anymore. I canT pick anything unless i select a single item.

HELP

May be that you affected the Aperture Size (under Options --> Drafting) and/or Pickbox Size(under Options --> Selection)?

The size of pickbox seems apropriate.

So, if select one item, the previously selected one is de-selected - is this the way your first post should be read?

I think you should uncheck then the "Use Shift to add to selection" option - that prevent you to select more than one item at the time if don't press while performing selection.

"Pickadd" other than 0(zero)

Mine is set on 2.

Both of the above posts I have done, there is no change.

Try _PICKAUTO = 1.

Personally I like using the implied windowing option for a selection, you might like it too. What is does is make it so that when you are making a selection you hold down your left mouse button until you have selected the items you want, then when you release the button, those items are selected, without the need to click again. Saves you a click each time you make a selection window. (_PICKAUTO =2)
