jbgraphic Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I have a couple of questions about the best way to proceed with the attached drawing #10. The top one. I have to "mimic this drawing along with the dimension style. I have drawn the drawing no problems but unsure the best way to show the dimensions as per the drawing, Do I just use leaders with no arrows? Is this the best way? Also how do I make the table for the text on the bottom? The table tool is my guess? It looks simple enough. Thanks for any advise, Quote
MSasu Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Please check the ordinate dimensions - DIMORDINATE. For the table, since you are using 2011, then the TABLE command is the answer; you ca also draw it by lines and text items as exercise. Quote
jbgraphic Posted April 18, 2012 Author Posted April 18, 2012 Nice thank you that was super simple! I am really enjoying learning autocad and this forum is a great resource with some very knowledgeable people who I appreciate there help and advise. Quote
B_Rich Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Also one thing that I found very easy is to get your DIMSCALE (scale of all dimension objects) correct first, that way you don't have to change individual dimensions if they're too big or small. Quote
