Transition Piece patterns

Dear Forum members,

I have a drawing plate of a transition piece at 1"= 1'.0 and have text to enter on the patterns. How do I determine the scale for the text?

Please advise. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciate.

Simple. For 1/8th" high text you would do the following: 1.25x12=1.5. For 3/32" high text it would be 0.9375x12=1.125. And so on.

When I use 1.5 inches for the text it dwarfs the drawing. The patterns are only 14"x10"x6".
