ReMark
Those of you who are not on Subscription probably haven’t heard of the DWG Convert tool that was introduced in the Subscription Advantage Pack for AutoCAD 2011. This tool allows the user to convert AutoCAD DWG files to Release 14, 2000, 2004, 2007 and 2010 file formats. It also works in batch mode. If you are not on Subscription but you have AutoCAD 2012 or 2013 DWG Convert is now included as a normal part of the program. It can be accessed in two ways. From the Application Menu click on Save As then find and click on DWG Convert. From the Menu Bar click on File > DWG Convert. So now, for some of you at least, there is no need for downloading DWG Trueview just to have the ability to convert a file.
