7ames Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 If you experience difficulties reinstalling a copy of AutoCAD Map 3D after removing a version, or moving to a different PC, try installing the 2008 version first. Hopefully the reinstall of the version you want to use will then work. Finish up by uninstalling AutoCAD Map 3D 2008 from Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs. Another user has also had success by installing the 2008 version restarting and navigating to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, and selecting AutoCAD Map 3D 2008 from the list, clicking on Change/Remove, and then bringing up the AutoCAD Map 3D 2008 Installation Wizard - Maintenance Mode which was then used to reinstall a later version of AutoCAD Map 3D from its distribution DVD.
