ReMark Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 You can extract 2D views from 3D models in a variety of ways using AutoCAD 2012. Here are you five options: 1. Flatshot 2. SectionPlane 3. SolProf 4. SolDraw/SolView 5. ViewBase Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. I frequently use either Flatshot or ViewBase. You might want to read up on each, in your Help files, then experiment with them first. Quote
Oppie Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Thanks for the help. I will try them out. Here a video of mine on how to create 2D views and sections from 3D Solids with the commands Flatshot and SectionPlane: http://youtu.be/JZX61ok669M Quote
