Marktuc Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 How are normal lines joined together to make one poly line? Learning on Auto CAD 2010. Quote
MSasu Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Please check the PEDIT command. It will ask you to select an entity - line, arc or polyline. If the entity is not a polyline will ask for confirmation to convert it to one. Next, from the list of options select Join and select other entities to build your polyline. Please remember that the items should be in contact at ends. Alternatively may start the command with Multiple option and select all entities at once; confirm conversion if case and chouse again Join. Now will be allowed to automatically close small gaps (Fuzz factor). Quote
nestly Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 JOIN and/or PEDIT (polyline edit) are the two built in Commands. http://www.cadtutor.net/tutorials/autocad/joining-lines-polylines-and-arcs/ However I prefer LeeMac's Polyline Join lisp http://www.lee-mac.com/polylineprograms.html http://www.screencast.com/t/ILha0rPzQs Quote
Marktuc Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 PEDIT got it! Worked as advertised. I was trying polyedit, polylineedit, and on and on. Thanks Guys! Quote
