I am running AUTOCAD 2004. I would like to know if there is any software, tricks, tips, voodo or anyother way to make a clean transfer to 2004 from SOLIDWORKS. My other computer has SOLIDWORKS and MICROSTATION loaded. I use all three (not at the same time) and it is easy to do experimentations. Hook me up if you know of any.
Thanks

Never used SolidWorks myself (it does look cool though) but I doubt it will open a 2004 ACAD drawing (new file format). Can it open a 2000 dwg file? You might have to play with it some. Try a 3d solid file, a 3d face file, a 3ds file and so on.

I have Autocad 2004 and solidworks on my PC, you can ask Solidworks to send you the XCHANGEWORKS program so you can do the transition, visit their site, www.xchangeworks.com
