iainlines Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Hi, This should probably go in another forum but thougt it might get more footfall here. I am currently using Acad 07 on Windows 7. I save my drawings to another pc on our network. Yesterday said pc was updated to windows 7 and now I am unable to save. I get an error message reading:- Unable to save drawing Location/file name.dwg, drawing saved to drawing/filename.tmp. Anyone else had this? What is a .tmp? I can save the files on my computer then move them over but it isn't ideal Thanks folks Iain Quote
MSasu Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Did you asked your network administrator to check your access privileges on the remote workstation? Quote
iainlines Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Nope! I have an administator account but have no clue how to check privileges Edited July 11, 2012 by iainlines Quote
MSasu Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 What I suspect is that you don't have write rights on that location. I don't know either how to check/set this, so I can only suggest you to do a search on this mater. If successful, then you may want to come back here and share your new knowledge for others that may encounter such situations in future. By the way, you have an "Edit Post" button for fixing the spelling. Quote
