johnbuck Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) Hi all, At the moment I have the dim macros set as follows: ^c^c-layer make dim colour 7;-colour bylayer^C^C_dimaligned This works for placing the dimensions on the dim layer but it would be nice if it would revert to the previous layer setting after placing the dimension. Anyone know how this can be done, if at all possible? Please note, I do not want to use a palette. Regards JohnB Edited August 13, 2012 by johnbuck Quote
Dadgad Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Welcome to the forum. So glad you asked, Lee Mac's LAYER DIRECTOR will do that and more. While you are there, take a look around, no doubt you will find a few more of Lee's wonderful lisps helpful. Thanks Lee! Quote

Dadgad Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 The thanks go to Lee, he is the one who wrote it and shares it freely. I love that it will create the layer if it doesn't already exist. I have it loaded in my STARTUP SUITE, never leave home without it. Quote
