Hey all,
I've been through my hatch pattern files with a fine tooth comb and I can't find what the problem is! I have a tonne of custom hatch patterns and when I go to use the hatch command and click on the "..." button AutoCAD freezes. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks,
Mike

Came across this at the AutoDesk Discussion Group website re: ACAD 2007 & custom hatch patterns. Hope it is of some value to you.

There is one known problem with some old hatch pattern files. It's when they lack a carriage return (CR). AutoCAD 2007 requires the normal
CR/LF(linefeed) pair.

Yeah I found that one too and I went through and changed my pat file to add the carriage returns. I can't figure out what's wrong. I have so many added pattern files that I really don't want to lose. If there's anyone out there that knows how to fix the pat file and is willing to help me out and have a look at them please pm me!
Thanks.
Mike
