missing service packs, i think

i have been haveing trouble with my program messing up. i thought i was up to date with all my updates, but the program keeps changing to where my programmed mouse functions don't work properly. When i select a line the layer control is suppose to show what i select. it doesn't. the single line text does not work properly to go and text edit. i am unable to annotate properly. i uninstall and then reinstall and works fine for a couple days and then goes back to acting up. does anyone recall this problem and a fix.

You should be able to check by going to Help > About > Product Information button. If you have no service packs installed it should show a "0".
