Batch plotter for 2000+ for multi printer selections etc

Is there a batch utility that a person can set the a print driver,
pin with file & page size for all drawings no matter what they
was plotted out for that last time. A Utility that would not crash.
I think the Publish command in AutoCAD hangs up if there is
an incorrect parameter in a AutoCAD file after it was last plotted.
I did write a batch Utility in Rel 14 in VBA but it seems not
to work in AutoCAD 2004.

The PUBLISH command will alert you to the status of each drawing before getting started. Even so, I have not had it hang on errors, only skip the drawing with the error.
