Layer manager dialouge box

HI

Using AUTOCAD 2011 whwn i open my layer manager dialouge box, i can not drag it to make it bigger, can anyone tell me a setting i can use to make it bigger ?

my 2011 layer manager just streyches from the corner and I can't think of a setting to control that. (I am sure Dadgad will be along soon with a setting though.) In the meantime, have you right clicked the "spine" and tried the move or size options? Do they help?

Maybe you have all the Floating Toolbars / Docked Panels Locked

to override this, press CTRL while stretching the Layer Manager Window

 

You can also set LOCKUI to 0

Thanks for the vote of confidence Dave, but sorry there is no system variable for that. :beer:

Nod's guess would be a good one, or you can right click in the layer manager dialog box header and select SIZE from the options there,

oh I just noticed you already suggested that too...never mind.

as you have posted so many system settings recently I assumed it was your bed time reading. I guess if there isn't a setting you wouldn't know it!

LOCKUI = 0 or 7 will let the layer manager resize.

 

Or better yet Set LAYERDLGMODE = 0 for classic layer manager and resize as you wish.
