I heed to create a thin wall extruding. If I remember correctly, our instructor used a polyline to draw a semicircle then offset it a small distance. Then applied a region or something, then extruded the two polylines upward into a hollow object. Can anyone help me duplicate this?

You can draw a circle, draw a line from top quadrent to bottom guadrent and trim by this line.

The offset the curve a bit. I drew my circle at 3" and offset it by 1/4".

Trim it up a bit and then you are ready to make a region (I guess you could have offset the circle 1st and then trimmed by the line only once but same result).

Type REGION and select all objects and press enter. You now have a region ready to extrude. Hope this helps. :)
