FazBear Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I have come across a problem in AutoCAD 2006. when modeling particularly when working with objects created in other software (solid works etc) I get a message saying command in process when I try to save. I have to close the drawing to be able to save it. any suggestions or anyone had anything similar? Quote
FazBear Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 Thank you! I'll be sure to follow these instructions when the error comes up again. Quote
FazBear Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 Has the error appear on a drawing, still was unable to get around it :S had to close the drawing to save it. Quote
profcad Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Type SAVE and see if you can save it as another name. Save is an older command, that must be typed on the command line. Think of it as a "Save Copy As" command. Quote
tzframpton Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 that same error happens a lot on my Boss' computer.... like profcad says, type SAVE and it works quite nicely ;-) Quote
tommybluegrass Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Just hit the "X" to close then it should ask you to save. The "X" close forces the command active to end. But if it doesn't ..... we tried! Quote
