Rooster Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I have AutoCAD (2013) set up with two anchored windows on the left-hand side of my screen - layer properties, and then anchored below it the design centre. What can I do to make sure that my layer properties manager always stays anchored to the TOP of the LHS, and the design centre BELOW it, because they switch around when I open a new drawing? and it's really annoying! tonyj Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 (edited) Set it up the way you want it to be and then on the command line type in 'workspace' and enter, then type 'sa' and then enter and give the workspace a name, any name will do, and then press enter again. This will set that workspace as current and it will be like that the next time you open any drawing. Edited November 23, 2012 by tonyj Quote
Dana W Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Also, click on the little padlock icon on the bottom of the window and lock the toolbars (windows) in place. Quote
Rooster Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the suggestions - I'll give the 'workspace' option a go. Dana, looked for the padlocks, but I don't have these on my anchored windows.... UPDATE: The workspace option does not work for me on this. Edited November 26, 2012 by Rooster Quote
