Can you help?

I've opened and printed a drawing in AutoCAD 2006.
There's no sign of it in the model space or in the layout page but the drawing is printed with the word CONFIDENTIAL running diagonally across the centre of the drawing.

I'm guessing this is a security measure and the text is somehow embedded into the drawing. Is it possible to remove?

Thanks

Geoff

have you tried the "copyclip" command and dropping the drawing in a new .dwg?

Thanks,

Yes, I've tried this but the results are the same.

This is most likely a feature of your print Driver.

Start the PLOT command, then click on the properties button to change the printer settings.

Here is an example of the HP8150 laser Printer that we use...

When I choose Properties from the plot command a window appears with 3 options: General, Ports and Device and Document settings.

I can't find 'Effects' or a Watermark command.

Thanks very much for you help thus far. I feel I will have to contact the originator of the document for further help.

However, if anybody has anymore ideas...

Cheers

After a thorough search of my printer settings I was able to find the watermark setting and turn it off. This is not a problem I've encountered before but have now overcome the issue.

Thanks very much for your help.
