things to remind before working with autocad

what are things to remind when you start working with cad??
how do you setup yuor autocad environment,before making a project?
what do you usuaally do?and some tips when working?

i usually make sure to take a big #2 in the bathroom, i hate feeling a poker while i'm drafting. lol :lol:

After you go #2 in the bathroom, you should sit down at your computer and create some drawing templates. Having templates will save you loads of time whenever you start a new drawing.

Cad64 is right. Templates = biggest time saver. Learn to use them!!

Find the last few projects that are similar tot he new one, and review what issues and problems there were with that one
