Hi,

I am trying to create a library of hatches, i understand how to create the .pat files, my problem however is that i want to be able to preview them in the "hatches pattern pallette" window as you do with the "ANSI" and "ISO" tabs. Can anyone help

Cheers

if you have these pat files in a folder called say "pats" in the support directory. Go into the options and place this folder into you support file search path. then if you go into the hatch command go to the "Custom" pattern tab.
Hope this helps.

I have done that already but i would like them to be on their own tab if this is possible

Try to include your hatch patterns to acad.pat file (at the end of it) - if you really don't use "user defined pattern"

I have done that as well, but i would still ideally like them to be on their own tab

I'm not sure how you would go about it but it would be a nice feature for AutoCAD to have. If anyone knows of how to do it please post!
Thanks.
