I am trying to move an object from where it has been drawn relative to the world coordinate system to "zero, zero".

In 2004 I could use "move", pick a base point then enter a set of absolute coordinates. I have been unable to make this work in 2007. It appears to only allow me to enter a vector for the move.

I have tried just repositioning the UCS to the point I wish to be Zero Zero, but due to the application this is not a viable option. The geometry must be positioned relative to the world coordinate system.

Should just draw stuff in the right place to start, but it woud be nice to know how to input absolute values in the move command.

Thanks for any help you may offer.

It works for me, just putting the x,y coordinates for the second point.

It sounds like you have dynamic input turned on. Type #0,0 to enter an absolute coordinate.

You can change this setting by right clicking on the dyn button and select settings.

Thank you very much.

Doubt I would have figured that one out for a while. Apparently there are is a lot of new stuff since 04.
