Hi what is the most effective way of putting downloaded 3d images to layouts?Must we convert to 2d and how?
I loaded some stuff from accustudio but rendering does not work.

Hello bat, what are you trying to do, exactly? Add a rendered image to a plot/sheet/layout? What version of AutoCAD do you have? Only 2004 can print a rendered viewport, the others have to render to a file and then add the reaster image to your layout.

I use 2000 version.Will i have advantages if i move on to 2004?
I am trying to use those images in a home plan.Putting tables sofas shelves etc.And in right scales for sure.Can i do it with Autocad?

When you say downloaded 3d images do you mean 3d models (.dxf, .dwg, .3ds, .max, etc...) or do you mean .jpg, .png, .gif and such? If they are 3d models you can use .dxf and .3ds (of course dwg) with no problem. Sure you might have to scale them to suit your needs but no big problem there. If I understand what you want then sure you can do it w/ 2000. What problems are you having?

They are 3d dwg. files downloada from accustudio.com.I want to use them in plans.But dont exactly know how to.

I would open the files by themselves in autocad first and clean them up if they need it. Then save files and then just insert into your master plan as a block. This should work without any problems.
