hello all,
being new to 3d modelling , i was wondering if somone could tell me if there is a way to convert a wire frame object into a solid . I've tried but didn't get anywhere..

wireframes are heavy indeed.
But if you have the bounding Polymeshes, 3d-faces or Solids. i.e some kind of "sorted" wireframes, so I can help.

A simple box structure could be used to then extrude a solid or to draw
a 3d solid box ontop of.
What is the Wirframe at the moment ? Description wouldhelp.

Nice tutorial!I got to the first stage and ran out of time,will look at again tonight.Only just starting to get to grips with the basics of 3D so this is helpfull :) .If anyone knows of any other links you can send me on basic 3d tutorials Id be greatful

Wheels, archs, etc are all possible with a combination of these commands.
