I hope there is someone out there who can help with what seems like a complicated issue. The post is sort of long but I wanted to put all relevent information I could think of. The following errors happened while working in Autocad 2005, and with each session i tried to initiate afterwards. I even reinstall software several times, with no luck.

While working in Mechanical Desktop/Autocad 2005 I received a Runtime Error Message as follows:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I click OK and then a series of windows pops up, one after the other, as follows:

The only way that I could "work around" the problem was to removed the AcSign Apply.exe and AcSign.arx files from the Acadm folder. I don't know why this worked or what I am disabling by removing these folders. The only reason I knew to so this is becuse I saw AcSign error in Autocad command line as the program was terminating one time.

This exact problem also happened to my AutoCAD 2004. Both have happened within the last 10 days- never before.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Jay,

I am having the same problem, with my acad 2004. but I am not getting the extra scripts. If I figure it out I will let you know.

If anyone else can help us with this error, please let us know.

Kindest thanks.
