I know that 2004 is supposed to be able to run on the same computer with previous versions, but does anybody know anything about loading 2004LT and 2004 on the same machine? We're an LT office, but we're buying one full version of 2004 for all the bells and whistles that I'll use, but most other people won't. Are there any bugs that will give me problems if I put copies of both on my computer?
Thanks,
Kate

We have one PC with CAD2K4 and its LT companion and they seem to be quite happy together.Whether theyre designed to run side by side is another matter.Have you tried asking Autodesk?

Yes, they can. I ran the demo of LT 2004 along my 2004 with no problems.

Okay, thanks guys. :-) I haven't actually loaded the two versions yet, but I wanted to know if there was anything that I'd need to look out for. Sounds like there isn't, though, so with any luck it'll all be just fine. :-) Thanks again!

Actually that is supposed to be one of the new features in 2004 - the ability to work alond side of older/other versions of AutoCAD. If I am running ADT (2000i) I cannot open r2002. I can open 2002LT but not the full version. Weird huh? Now I can open 2000i and 2004 with no problems.
